Among the objects described as an "abomination"
were the carved images of pagan gods (Deut. 7:25–26),
the sacrifice to God of inferior, blemished animals (Deut. 17:1),
the practice of idolatry (Deut. 17:2–5),
and the fashioning of a "carved or molded image" of a false god (Deut. 27:15; Is. 44:19).
Lately we've been seeing a lot more news involving gays. This is a battle the world over. Although it shouldn't come as any surprise to believers.
Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; ....... 30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
So then, how was it in Lots day?
Genesis 19:4 ....the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, .... both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5 .....said , Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
We find that homosexuality was wide spread in Lot's day. Lot even offered up his virgin daughters to these men to leave the angels alone. They still desired the angels/men over the girls. (I can't help but wonder, if homosexual marriage was legal at that time)? Any way, they angered God to the point He couldn't stand any more and destroyed them all. So you can figure, based on just that alone, this particular abomination will be in plain sight and accepted or forced in society. Like the days of Lot.

Preaching that homosexuality is a sin from the pulpit will result in the preacher being charged with “hate speech.” This is already taking place in Canada.

Scouts, and all non-profit organizations, will be required to hire homosexuals as leaders.
City officials have already had a billboard removed in Long Island, NY, because it was classified as “hate speech.” The billboard read: “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination.” (Leviticus 20:13)
Employees will not be allowed to say anything negative about homosexuality in their workplaces.
Classes promoting the homosexual lifestyle will be included in school curricula beginning with the lower grades.
Employers will be forced to hire homosexuals.
Adoption by homosexuals will be legalized in every state.

This comes as a sign to the Church as one of the signs/conditions that God said would be at the coming of the Lord. By that, we also know it's going to happen.
We find even now, the European Union is leaning heavily on those nations that are not accepting the new lifestyle, but the nations of the world will be forced into accepting Satan's plan, like it or not. By consent or by force.

Note that homosexuality is in the same category as sex with animals. So one is just as bad as the other right? but....

TALLAHASSEE — Animals could be safer under a bill being passed by a Senate committee that would punish people who sexually abuse them. Law enforcement officers have not been able to charge offenders with a crime because having sex with animals isn't against the law in Florida. Charges could only be filed if an animal was injured or had been a victim of excessive or repeated infliction of pain. Under those cases the violators are charged with animal cruelty which is a misdemeanor.
Sen. Nan Rich wants to make the sex acts with animals a felony and also make it a felony to photograph or videotape it. The recent bestiality acts caught by police or deputies involved a pregnant goat. The 48-year-old man who did that is now behind bars for a different livestock crime.
Is it possible to be accepting of one abomination but reject another?
I'm surprised he's not trying to convince the court he was born that way.

Under Mosaic laws they were to be put to death for such an act. At this point and time we are in the "Grace Period", the "Church Age" so this practice is no longer used.
Instead, like the woman brought before Jesus taken in adultery. Jesus forgave her and told her to go and sin no more.
I think the same applies here. If they are willing to repent of their sin we should forgive them. But what if they are unwilling to repent? Then it means for certain that the lake of fire awaits.

The word "effeminate" in the original Greek means - "soft ", "catamite homosexual". And "abusers of themselves with mankind", this is the only time "abusers" is used in the Word of God.
Strong's defines "abusers" as - sodomite.
With reference to the Greek word arsenokoites = ; a sodomite:- abuser of ( that defile ) self with mankind. arsen is- male or man. koite is- cohabitation, by implementing the male sperm:- bed, chambering, x conceive.
All referring to homosexuality. 1Corinthians9:11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
We find that Paul is speaking to some that had been acting that way. They had turned from their wickedness, which proves it can be overcome as can any fleshly desires.

Titus1:15Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 16They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Think of the gays that attend church and profess they know the Lord. Surely they can't think they are really saved can they? It seems very clear from the Word of God that this act is definitely the opposite. No one doing such things will ever enter into the Holy Kingdom. This is reconfirmed in Revelation. Speaking of the Holy City.
Revelation 21:27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
No abominations in the Holy City. Isn't it clear? So how is it that so many professed Christians are willing to accept this lifestyle as an alternative lifestyle. When it is so clearly disliked by God.
In Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, adultery, fornication and homosexuality were running rampant. It's so disgusting before God that he chose to destroy them all.

After reading all this, it's so hard to understand how anyone can think it's ok. But there are those that will never find the truth and will land themselves in the lake that burns forever.
